WVU is a good place to have too much fun. If you are a WVU student who has failed to avoid the attention of WVU Department of Public Safety officers or Morgantown Police Department in the demonstration of your exuberance, you will need an advocate who has familiarity with both the local criminal system as well as proceedings with the WVU Office of Judicial Affairs. With my assistance, most public intoxication, underage consumption, disorderly conduct and similar charges can be resolved and expunged at very reasonable cost.
Landlord/Tenant issues: most WVU upperclassmen live in rental housing. Disputes between local landlords and student tenants are common and often end up in Court. If you have been served with a wrongful occupancy complaint, don't hesitate to call with questions. Without representation, you are at a distinct disadvantage in local Courts. On the other hand, if you feel you have been treated unfairly by a landlord and all other attempts to resolve your dispute have failed, then maybe it's time to think about a lawsuit. Call an attorney who has experience in the local civil Courts and knows the territory. You will enhance your chances of recovering a money award with competent local counsel.
